Labeling Content

To apply Labels to your site's content, open the content for editing and select applicable Labels from those available in the Labels interface.

PLEASE NOTE: Labeling options may not be available on new content items.  This is due to the way Labels is manipulating the forms in Joomla 1.5 (Joomla 1.6 will solve this problem).

To make labeling easier, the interface provides two links that will open popup windows: one for quickly creating new Labels and the other for selecting Labels to apply from an easy-to-read interface. The changes will be saved when you click the Save or Apply buttons in the toolbar.

Add New Labels

The Add New Labels popup helps you quickly add new Labels to the system.

The interface will allow you to set the Title, Alias, Published State and Access Level of the new Labels. You can add several Labels at a time by pressing the "Add" button in the popup toolbar. The Add button will create an additional set of fields for creating another Label. The Remove button next to each set of fields can be used to remove extra field sets. When you have entered all the information for the new Labels, press the Save button to save the Labels. The popup will close and the Labels list will be updated with the newly created Labels.
