Control is a maintenance utility that allows you to manipulate the Access Control tables provided with Joomla!.
Please note that this extension does not add access control to existing extensions (like com_content) by itself. Your installed extensions must be designed to work with Control in order to achieve finer access granularity.

Extensions Integrated with Control
We are currently testing the integrated of Control with our internal Document Manager, Catalog Manager, Magazine Manager and Content Manager (not available for release yet). To date this has been very successful as a proof-of-concept so we are moving to integrate Control with our Magazine and Catalog systems.

- PHP 5 is recommended
