Content Manager - Frontend ACL Editing in Joomla - Beta Testing

The JXtended crew is very happy to announce that public beta testing of Content Manager, a free extension for Joomla 1.5, has now begun. Content Manager integrates with Control, our ACL management system, which allows you to control the access to frontend editing of articles down to the category level.

Access controlled operations include the ability to:

  • Create articles
  • Edit articles
  • Publish articles
  • Trash articles
  • Change the author of an article
  • Change the access level of an article
  • Change the parameters of an article

Beta testing is open to the public but you are required to register as a tester to gain access to the extension.  An overview and walkthrough of Content Manager is available in the JXtended documentation section.
