BeON Living is a fantastic lifestyle site that has just launched with Magazine. Some sites look good enough to eat but with this one you can take it literally.
This is a single publication site and makes heavy use of the Magazine sections to group articles into the top-level containers like Recipes, Global Good, and so on. These containers also make use of the Magazine Splash Page manager which gives the power to do some wild things with modules on a per-page basis.
Behind the scenes they are also running a Joomla! 1.0 Virtuemart site to power their online store.
