We are pleased to announce the release of JXtended Reports 2.1.0 Stable for Joomla! 1.5.

Reports is a simple framework for creating reports on your Joomla! database. It includes example reports for showing visitor statistics and content. Examples show how you can extend the Reports to do additional operations such as mailing the owners of old content, or exporting your database to CSV files.

The changelog for this version is as follows:

  • New: Reports can specify components that are required for them to run.
  • New: Now support frontend access to reports
  • New: Basic frontend access control by user group to built-in reports
  • New: Basic frontend access control by user group to custom reports
  • New: Parameter to include a default frontend stylesheet (to add styles that are typcially missing from templates)
  • New: Printable Version links added to each report
  • New: Improved the way filter variables can be passed into the report
  • New: Added new exception report for un-activated users
  • New: Added new exception report to check for duplicate alias fields in content articles
  • New: Added new exception report to check for duplicate alias fields in menu items
  • New: Added report to aggregrate the number of users registering per day
  • New: Added report to check SEO metrics in content articles
  • New: Added example report based on foreign depenancies (JXtended Catalog and Comments must be installed)
  • Removed: Removed Content Edits report (same as Content Articles)
  • Removed: User Agent reports (no longer supported in 1.5)
  • Removed: Last User Visit (not really useful)
  • Bug fix: Added error checking for the JXtended Libraries
  • Bug fix: Reports with missing xml files are excluded from the list
  • Bug fix: Export to CSV report wasn't working
  • Bug fix: Export to CSV was missing label tag for radio options
  • Bug fix: List of reports disappeared when selecting "all"
  • Bug fix: Content Aging mail function did not work
