Easy to Setup and Use

Finder is incredibly easy to setup and use. One package installs the component, modules and all the required plugins.  When complete, simple click the Index button and Finder goes to work.  Just add the Finder search module and you're away.

Indexed Content

Finder indexes content on two levels.  It scans the content for keywords, giving user-defined weightings to those found in the title or keywords.  It then scans the relationships (not supported in all plugins) to other things like categories and sections so that you can create refined filters.

Flexible Filters

Finder allows you to create custom search filters to contain the results to certain types of content.  This allows you to provide contextual searching when your visitor is looking at particular sections of your Web site.  Filters can be used with modules and menu pages.

Search Plugins

Finder is built to scale.  It uses the Joomla plugin system to provide pluggable adapters to search different types of content.
