More Than Words

Comments lets your community express themselves with emoticons, BB code (including syntax highlighting for technical comments), avatars powered by Gravatar, and ratings.

Spam Protection

Comments has a number of features to help fight Spam including two CAPTCHA options, automatic flagging through Akismet, as well as the ability to block specific IP addresses and users. Interact with your users while avoiding the junk—transparently.

We've designed Comments to be easy and efficient. We make administration easy by making Comments easy to install and setup and moderation extremely efficient.

Quick Moderation

If you choose to require moderation of new comments, either for all users or just guests, Comments makes moderation extremely efficient. Moderation is as simple as clicking an action to apply to a pending comment and then pressing apply. You can quickly publish, defer, or delete pending comments in just a few clicks. Want to be notified whenever a new comment is posted? We can do that too.

The Power of Context

The moderation interface of Comments helps you understand the context of a user's response by showing the most recent comments in that thread, the most recent posts by the user, and the most recent posts by IP address. Still not sure how it fits in? Quickly navigate to where the comment was submitted.

Find it Faster

The moderation interface let's administrators sort comments by date, author, author's e-mail address, author's web site, author's IP address, or subject. You can also choose to see only comments that have been published, pending moderation, or flagged as spam. If that wasn't enough, search for comments based on author's name or keyword.
