JXtended Labels 1.0.1 Stable Released

Posted October 07, 2009

The latest version of JXtended Labels for Joomla!™ has several new features to improve your Web site. A new related content module makes associating content as simple as labeling it with the same label. You can now configure the ordering for content when viewing a label page whichever way makes most sense for your site. Also, feeds can now be generated for label pages so that you can syndicate your labeled content to the world. These exiting new features and much more are available immediately with JXtended Labels 1.0.1 for Joomla!

Labeling content is easier than ever with a new and improved form widget that allows you to quickly add and apply labels to any content supported by JXtended Labels such as Joomla articles, contacts, and weblinks. As in previous releases JXtended Labels for Joomla! also supports EventList venues and events as well as JXtended Magazine articles and JXtended Catalog nodes.

Displaying the labels applied to content gives it an immediate context to better help your site visitors understand what the page or link is about. This version of JXtended Labels comes with a content plugin that can display the labels for a Joomla article on section or category listing pages as well as on the article page itself. It also integrates with our advanced search engine extension JXtended Finder by displaying labels in search results for content that has been labeled.

Also added in this new version is support for sh404sef. Enabling this support is as simple as copying a file and documentation can be found in our JXtended Labels support section.

Please note that this version requires Joomla 1.5.10 or later and is the last PHP 4.x compatible version of Labels. All versions released after this will require PHP 5.2 or later.

All subscribers are advised to upgrade and can download the package in the JXtended Downloads section.
