JXtended is Hiring - Entry-level Support Technician

JXtended is a leading Joomla extension development company run by some of the most recognized and respected people in the community. We are looking for an entry-level support technician to add to our team. As a support technician, you will be responsible for supporting clients as they install, configure, and use our commercial Joomla extensions; creating knowledge-base articles in response to common questions and issues; escalating client issues and concerns as required; and, most importantly, ensuring the highest-levels of customer support and satisfaction possible.

This is a part-time, virtual position that will leverage your outstanding communication skills to assist clients from around the world. As a member of the JXtended team, you will have the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the most knowledgeable Joomla developers around. You should have a solid understanding of Joomla, the ability to learn quickly, and a strong work ethic. Knowledge of HTML and CSS are required. Knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL are helpful but not required. Compensation commensurate with experience and skills.

Qualifications

  • One or more (1+) years of experience working with the Joomla! Content Management System. Must have solid knowledge of Joomla setup procedures, content publishing, installing extensions, problem solving, etc.
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS. JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL experience helpful but not required.
  • Outstanding English communication skills. You will need to communicate with international clients who sometimes possess little more than a basic understanding of the English language.
  • Good time management skills. You will be required to handle multiple tasks and follow-up on assigned tasks and responsibilities.

    'support technician' doesn't sound too sexy, but i thought i'd let anyone looking at this page know that these guys are awesome and you should totally work for them.

    Support technician can be great if softwares are good.
